Established in 1915, this section of land is a tribute to A.P.Stevenson. This was an experimental farm for farmers. The Morden Research Centre offers a scenic retreat for picnics, pictures, or a leisurely walk through the various plantations.
Optimum visiting time is May through September.

This fabulous heritage building was originally the post office and is now the Pembina Hills Art Centre, run by Artist's who live in South Central Manitoba.
The Art Gallery displays a wide selection of original arts and crafts, ideal gifts and souvenirs. They feature a variety of acrylic and watercolor paintings, drawings, photographs, stained glass windows, sun catchers, candle holders, hand carved birds, clocks, prints, painted silk scarves, hand painted china, pottery, wind chimes, cards, jewelry and leather masks.
Workshops are held through out the year.

This tour was part of the 2008 Cultural Capital of Canada Chautauqua Spirit project.
It was originally designed as a guided walking tour with a special added twist. Local actors in period costumes provided a five minute introduction to each building, noting the history and architectural significance. The tour began at the Pembina Hills Arts Centre and continued on to three other heritage properties.
You can now go on your own self guided walk and listen to the audio recording of the original tour. Either visit the Morden Library for a copy of the CD or click the link (below) and download onto your Ipod.
